Sachin the new skipper: Sports Centre

Sachin was asked to captain the Indian team after World Cup 2007 in accordance with the poor performance of the team against South Africa. Sachin hasn't yet accepted the offer and time will tell whether Ganguly will be given the same offer or not. Anyways, the selectors are not happy with Dravid as captain and they desperately want a change as reported by ESPN.

Sachin is unlikely to play for India beyond World Cup 07, let alone captain India. I don't think it is gonna happen.

sachin is a best but he is not a good capain .

Really, is it? That may not be a good idea of adding pressure on Sachin but if that happens it will be very interesting to see Sachin the Captain in action. He is not at his peak but I strongly believe he will give his best at some point before retiring from Cricket-that may be the WORLD CUP 2007, hopefully.
