Now let us have an opinion pool regarding eyeglasses and contact lenses. For those of us with poor sight, which one do you prefer; eyeglasses or contact lenses? For those of us with good sight, how do you see people wearing eye glasses? If tomorrow you have problem with your sight and you were adviced to optical aids, which would you prefer between eyeglasses and contact lenses?
In my onw case, I have a poor sight. Not all that bad but I wear eyeglasses. I think i prefer eyeglasses based on cost. Again, eyeglasses look fashionable to me and always put me in the class of the learned. funny indeed but that is how I feel each time I put it on. I look straight to my heigh and see my self as one of the gifted few.

I have worn both but I much prefer glasses as the modern ones are so much lighter and more fashionable. Contacts can be a little irritating at times.

I haven't use contact lens before so I guess my views will lean more on the eyeglasses. I've been using eyeglasses since for almost ten years now. It really help me improve my vision and correct my astigmatism, it is very fashionable as well if you choose nice frames. It is very convenient too and not to complicated to use you just have to wear them and remove them easily when you feel like it. But now I'm so curious to wear contact lenses because its very light and fashionable with its different color but I'm fearing that it might irritate my eyes and make my condition worst...

I have worn both. Each have postivies and negatives. glasses are easy because you and just take them off or put them on without any trouble. the care of them is also easier then contacts. On the other hand contacts don't fog up when you come inside after being out in the cold. Nor do you have clean after being out in the rain. But there is alot more care into wearing contacts and it is easier to get eye infections if proper care isn't taken when wearing contact.
