Is Stokes a Wuss?

I love Nick Stokes/George Eads. He's gorgeoius for one thing and his character has depth. Maybe there is too much depth to him.
To me, the writers make Nick out to be kind of a wussy. In the first season he gets held at gunpoint and starts bawling like a girl (no offence to girls out there, I am one...lol). It just makes him look like a bad CSI and less of a man.
In Grave Danger, I think Tarrentino made him out to look really good because I mean seriously, if you were burried alive would you have remained as calm as Nick did? I think Tarrentino gave him a littl more strength to his character.

I don't understand why he cried (or almost cried?) at that time.. doesn't seem consistent with his character in other episodes

The gravedigger episode really cemented my affection for Stokes. He handled that amazingly well. Also I think I got a little caught up in how much the other characters clearly cared for him. It made me like him a lot more. He's not a wimp - but I'm not the kind of person who judges sensitive men that way ... my husband is one:)

no, i don't think so. sensitive men or guys who have more empathy on them does not necessarily equals a wuss.
