if your certain that you want to stop smoking, there is quite a few options to choose from!
(1) stop smoking by doing the cold turkey mothed, eg - do it on your own with no help.
(2) go to a stop smoking group and they can help you with your carbon monoxide reading every week i think it is, if you wish to do that.
(3) there's a spray what you can use 3 times a day in your mouth and it tastes so bad, you won't want to smoke again, so experts say.
plus there's a patch called nicorette, it helps to provide nicotine through your skin to help you along with the bad cravings.
and last one there is nicorette chewing gum, you just have to chew them whenever you feel like having a smoke, they are quite good, my sister quit using them.

smoking can be stopped by adopting certain methods such as yoga,meditation,and etc it can be given up when an resolution is taken.

Stopping oneself to smoke is really up to oneself, it is the decision you have to take weather you want to stop or not. It takes discipline. If you're really good at yourself then you'll stop now, you don't need any idea or rules to follow.
