Sucessful wives

Is it true that men tend to seek those females as wives who are less sucessfull than themselves? do men avoid women who are more sucessful or earn more or are superior in any way?

i think this is true. men tend to feel intimidated by a successful woman. especially one that makes more than they do. i think they want to feel superior and they can't if their wife makes more money or has a better job.

I feel that is true, as male ego is a huge one so they always select wife less successful than themselves. Even if you are a female and boss of many males it is very difficult to manage them because of their prides.
