Why is yawning infectious? / myLot

Have you ever noticed that you cannot resist yawning when someone near you yawns. Why is it infectious? Any scientific explanation to this?

i dont really know. but i notice that too, when someone yawns, i have the tendency to be yawning too. haha. but i think its psychological, your sight telling you to do that too..
