Its not somethin like an Art where u can learn
being a goalie is a natural thing , u know its a talent abt REFELEX actions
and deals with ur co ordinations of ur entire body with ur mind
not all with jus dedication can be a goalie
it takes a lot to be a good goal keaper
cos after all , a goal can be scored at any second
and a game has 90 minutes
hence 5400 seconds u should be on ur toes defending
cos till u dont concede u can always win [:)]

calling it a NATURAL thing says that u hav to b a GOALIE by birth..my friend, co-ordination of ur mind n entire body works only when u r totally dedicated to a certain thing..i call it an ART bcoz u require a lot of brain work, while passing the ball to a player, judging the mind of an opposing player..

Yeah, being a former goalkepper myself I couldn't agree more on this topic. Everyome thinks the goalkeeper is the lass talented player on the field, but that's just not ture, it is as exhausting as a field player and requires some extra skills, such as agility, reflexes, jumping, being good at one on one situations and many more. I take my hats off to good goalkeepers, many times they are the ones deciding the games.

Its very hard to be a goalkeeper because one error you do its one goal for the other team, soo it requires a lot off concentration
