at what age shoul children be given mobiles..??

today every child demands a mobile from his parents..at what age do you think he must be given..

I think there is no particular age to carry mobile phone.But the parents should teach their children not to misuse it.

hey thats a good piece of advice..but do you think children relly do that..i have seen many of my friends misusing it like anything ang being very innocent in front of their parents..

i think they can we given mobiles and other after they are out of school...kids are bit more responsible by that time and by a bit of monitoring they can be made disciplined on usage also..also it is a sort of necessity for a person after you enter college...

do you reslly think that they get more disciplined..well as we all see it is mostly misused and used with heights of indiscipline and immorality...do you relally think the become more responsible..

I think it depends upon the child's situation and how responsible they are. You wouldn't want your child constantly losing a cell phone you have to replace or pay out rageous bills because they can't stop txting. My kids don't need one because if they are not in school they are with us or someone we trust. I do see other kids that are younger than mine, that whip out their phones after school and start using them.

There is no set age for a child to carry a mobile, personally i want my daughter to have one as soon as she can use one for her saftey not to call her mates every hour of the day but incase she needs any kind of help. She will know i am there then
