God appointed man to die and to live not more than 120 years after the great flood. All men die but nobody would ever know when a man shall die. These are in the Holy Bible.
From Adam up to Noah and his family, people lived long because Adam and Eve were eating from the fruit of the Tree of Life in the Garden of Eden. When Adam and Eve transgressed the commandment of God, God drove them away from the Garden so that they could no longer eat of the fruit of the Tree of Life which God commanded to be guarded with flaming sword so that nobody could go near.

God appointed man to die and to live not more than 120 years after the great flood which happened during the time of Noah - 10th generation.
Adam and Eve ate of the fruit of the Tree of Life when they were still in the Garden of Eden and so people until Noah and his family lived long years.
God appointed men to die but nobody would ever know the date or time when a man would die.

i m gonna give u the ans from my religion..karma--concept in which a soul does work and earns results..according to the work its gives result..now bc the result has to be fair..it can take forever to pay off result..bc whatever u do when u take birth is work even breathing is work..u starting this discussion is also work..there are some work u get result really fast and some take so many births..karma discribes body as soul's clothes once they get torned and dirty we throw them away ..same with the body one it is used and broken ..one;s soul has to leave it and take another body to finish getting the results also do some karma that will that soul to God and not to another birth..hope this ans helps

because our cells rot.
because it's like a wheel, running to gain information..
to reach a better state of consciousness.
at least, that's what i think.
