I am a part time tutor, so my 7 secrets of success are as follow:
1. Get a written job description. That helps you know what is expected of all teachers and helps you define clearly what you will need to accomplish. A job description helps clarify your responsibilities regarding other class leaders and other leaders in general.
2. Ask for all available materials. The appropriate Leader Guide provides a good start for getting ready to teach, but be aware of other resources that can help you understand each lesson better. Ask for commentary resources, study guides, Leader Packs and support materials to help you prepare effectively.
3. Ask questions. If you are replacing another teacher, ask that teacher for information about learners and the class if appropriate. Ask the person enlisting you about why you are replacing another teacher. Ask about facilities and location, too.
4. Look carefully at the whole picture. Teaching requires more than presentation ability. Communication and relationship skills are important. Commitment to learners is essential, too. Consider preparation time.
5. Develop a leadership team. Certainly your primary task is leading participants to grow spiritually and helping them discover how God has equipped them for service. But God has brought others into your class who are more gifted to carry out the other functions of the class. Enlist others to help with additional class responsibilities.
6. Never believe anyone who says, “There’s nothing to this job.” Good sense should tell us that nothing is that simple—especially when teaching. Ask other teachers who fill similar roles what they do each week to prepare adequately for their assignments.
7. Have the courage to throw in the towel. Unfortunately some teachers fail to see that they were failing in a greater way by not resigning. Resigning takes courage. Resigning also reflects a greater understanding of God’s plan for our lives.

seven??? I think there is only one and that is smart hardwork. Only hardwork will take you nowhere, even the street claner or house maid does that but if some smartness is showed while working nothing can stop you...
