IDENTIFYING PROBLEMS:...
A course organiser must be aware of any problems which may affect a student’s performance, be they health, financial, family or personal. These may ultimately have to be drawn to the attention of the Board of Examiners. Often such problems will be reported to the course organiser by the student or by their representative (e.g. doctor, parent or director of studies).
LIAISING WITH DIRECTORS OF STUDIES:......
When a course organiser detects a possible problem of which they were hitherto unaware, it is strongly recommended that the student’s director of studies be informed, unless the student has intimated otherwise.
