Do you always try to help your family out and always be there for them emotionally when they are in need but when you are in need they are always to busy with their own lives? Have you experienced this and What have you done to solve it? Any ideas??

Hey I would say, that its us who revolve around the world The world doesnt revolve around us. well what you think might go the other way around. I mean maybe the others can think as well that you are busy with your life and yes we got a tendancy to think that we are being the best at whatever we do And keep one thing in your mind Donot expect too much from anyone It will do nothing other than to hurt you!Thats tried and tested by me!

I fell into that ’busy’ category once, although my busy was more depression and I avoided certain situations on purpose. I regret that as I walked away from a few close relationships with ’extended’ family, although I’ve always been there for my immediate family, I always will be.

I have a great family. We are very close and try to get everyone together a few times a year, even though several have to travel a lot because of their jobs and some live far away. Between the get togethers, we call and/or e-mail. I know if I have a problem, even if it's in the middle of the night, I can call my family and someone will help. They also know they can call me and I will help in any way I can. I'm not saying we won't be ribbed if we get in some sort of crazy fix, because we will. But that will only be after the emergency is taken care of and everyone is o.k..

Yes of course, I'll be always by my family side when things are at worst. Family should be first and always should be at your number-one list in your priorities.

thanks for your reply. I love my family to although the only time i hear from them is when they want something I try to get them all together atleast once a once but they are always fighting about one thing or the other But i guess all big families are that way..My uncle told me that I'm the glue that holds my family together. I'm the only one out of all of us that doesn't fight at the drop of a hat or word.... then it takes alot to get me fired up then i just go off to my self.

No.. I always wanted to stay away from my parents and stay in distant places. It means I like to stay and live in different palces to enjoy the life and its challenges.

Thanks for your reply. You must be independent and like to travel alot.. I'm close with my mother not much with the rest because they never really come around or i don't hear from them unless they want me to do something for them... loan money, babysit, make something,etc....
