Have you ever rescued a bird or animal from danger and felt happy!

I have few experiences of rescuing a bird or small animals and that filled my heart with full of joy and happiness. We expect nothing from them in return for doing so, so I think every human will have such intentions in their hearts. Have you had any experiences like that. Would you prefer to save a small animal or a bird in danger ?

once i've seen this orange cat in our yard resting. i went near him and notice a big wound on his body. i realized that someone threw boiling water at him. i gave him water, milk and food. i felt pity on that cat. i took care of him since then. and he loves to be with me now.
