I am into print journalism, and I am bother of the possibilities of the newspaper status in the near future? Some say newspapers might be gone years from now because of advancement of technology where online journalism is here to stay. People are free to post their opinion through blogs and the interest are diverted to the accurate and on time news information.
So what do you think? Is there possibilities that newspaper will be gone in the near future?

I do think there is a definite possibility that newspapers will be gone in the future. I personally rarely read them anymore, it is much simpler to log onto one of the major news websites like CNN or BBC and get all the information I want, which is updated as the news happens.
I also think that people are more enviromentally conscious and online reading of the news is more eco-friendly.
Cheers!

I dont think the newspaper will be gone, i think it will jsut be available only online in the future. Everything is about technology, I think they will eventually elimate all paper, except for grocery store and normal store reciepts, but then again i have a theory on that as well. I dont think your job is in any jeporady, just wont be printed anymore, but uploaded on a server for online use
