Preferred you spontaneous prayer or to read the prayers on a book? I prefer spontaneous prayer and to read Holy Bible and you?

I pray before I go to sleep, as I am usually more relaxed then. But sometimes I just pray & think about better thoughts to make me happier. I am not overly religious, but do have a belief system that helps keep me strong in the face of so many things going wrong.

I pray the first thing when I get up in the morning as I'm beginning a new day and I don't know what is in store for me. i pray several times in the day depending on the situation and I pray everyday while going to sleep, This year I have made it a point to read the bible to finish it in one year so I read it. it gives you peace and strength.

I never pray or read the Bible as often as I should. I try to pray every night before I go to sleep, When I wake up & throughout the day when I have time. I also try to do my devotions each day. I know Jesus is my Lord & Saviour and I must bring myself into a right relationship with him, which means I must spend quality time with him, but it can be so difficult.

I think prayer should be done every waking hours of your life because I believe that prayer is like reporting to duty to your commanding officer since the Lord owns everything.
