Not everyone sees the same. Please tell me what country you are in, too. Ours here in West Virginia USA are gray, pink, green, blue and some white.

I know well the Kansas sunsets. I used to live in Independence, KS down near the OK border, one of the homes of young Laura Ingalls Wilder (who wrote Little House on the Prairie).

Here in the Philippines, I've seen blue, lavender, orange, pink, brown... I love sunsets. I'm glad you asked this question. The other day it was a nice reddish pink.

ive never seen a green or white sunsets that would be interesting to watch though. in this part of the globe where i live, Philippines by the way, sunsets are mostly fiery shades of red and orange, sometimes with blue yellow and gray sky. i love watching sunsets by the beach, im lucky enough to be able to go to a seaside or beach and enjoy a breath taking view of sun setting down into the sea horizon. my uncle has a house with a private beach and theres a nice cliff, interesting rock formations and caves in the surrounding. i recently had a great 3 days of getting in touch with nature there. it felt good just sitting there or reading in the balcony enjoying sea breeze watching the sun rise and sets everyday. =)

I live in the Philippines and I love to see the sunsets here especially if it sets over the horizon where you can a mountain far from beyond and surrounded by the sea. It's so lovely. My picture in my avatar is an example of a sunset here in our country. As you can see, there are different shades like both light and dark orange, and somewhere there's little purple and pink, and then bright yellow too with some combination of gray ones. I haven't seen white sunsets yet. It's not seen here in the Philippines. But i would love to watch it though. Thanks for the information. =)

Every evening I get to see the most beautiful sunset out my windows between the mountains. The colors change, according to the season though. Now it is winder, so it isn't as brilliant as in the summer. They tend to be purple, red, and orange.

Gosh if I would look out the window more often I would probably know the answer to that question a little better. I live in Colorado where most of the sunsets are purple and orange and sometimes 'dark orange' better known as a 'red sky' here. The old saying here is 'red sky at night is a delight' and 'red sky in the morning is a warning' where the weather is concerned. The red sky at night means no storms and the red sky in the daytime means a storm is coming. So far that holds true here.
