honestly, no i have not tried that. other than chicken liver, i found that some leftover chicken works wonders. just bait the hook, throw it out, and let it sit. wait and watch. the rod might take off on you, or you might notice the line slowly moving from one side, to another. i have had both happen to me.

Chicken liver? Working wonders? Well, that's something I ought to give a try to one of these days, don't think I've even heard of it before. How much fish do you usually get to capture per day with this sort of bait?

if yo ask em chicken livers are the best thing to fish for catfish with..if youve never tried you should..ive caught some big catfish with livers.as said before catfish can take it slow or run with it or keep you rod in a secure place..i also take and throw out either dry or wet cat food or dog food 2-3 days before to lure the catfish in(i have my own dock too so that helps)anything to help

I don't think those will be very sucessful in attracting big quantities of fish. I think you should go for more traditionals baits like worms and things alike, it always works for me.
