The New Passport Laws

What do you think about the new laws where you must have a passport to come/go to the US? Has it caused any issues for you @ all?

It will effect our family because we like to travel to Canada. For all of us to get passports will be very costly. I think it would run close to $400 and we just can't shell out that kind of money for something like that right now. How about you?

Same for us. This year will probibaly be our last little US trip. I woudl rather continue to travel around my own country than to pay extra (only going a couple times here and there)to go to another so close.

well I did hear that you could drive (not fly) with a driver's license and birth certificate until 2009. I need to confirm that and get to Whistler one last time before that expires.
