Some of my spam is filtered by my email service provider, but some gets through.
I agree that it's annoying to have to waste time deleting it.
The only reason spammers still send out spam is because some silly people respond to them, so it's worth the spammers' time to send out the messages. If no one ever responded to spam, the spammers would go out of business and the rest of us would be left in peace!

i have an AOL email, so when i do get spam, i know it is spam because my normal email all go the inbox section, i check it every morning and i have about 5 but i don't read them, i don't like wasting my time, i just delete the lot of them.

i just clock the select all button...and deleate them all.acually i have even not deleted them for last 1 year...actually gmail provides you such a large space....which is just difficult to fill....so who know when i need it..so just allowing them to stay...my dad when sees my mailbox feels what the hell is this if some1 really sends me some important mail i am really going to skip it...it happend twice...but i do care least about it...
I also feel taht u are really wasting too much of your time in deleating your spans...just glance over it and their is really no need to actually...spend 20 min for that
