frogs only as examples

Why frogs only taken as examples for many of the experiments?Is there any similarity between frogs and human beings?.......

Interesting, I never really thought about it in terms of similarity, at least no more than the general ones - internal organs, their positions ect. When I was in school I thought they used frogs because it was easy to get them:)
