I have a 99 mustang in good shape , but the lights while driving at night, will cut out ! you have to keep turning them back on and off, what could be making it do that ? do i need to change the fuse?

I had the same problem with my 89 mustang many years ago. I took it in to a Ford dealer and they discovered that the headlight relay was faulty. It was changed out and I never had that problem again.

Well there are a few reasons that could be happening...One yes, I would start with checking the fuse, that is the easiest and cheapest thing to start with, if that doesn't work, then you are going to have to trace the wiring...See if there is a split in the wiring somewhere, or wires loosing some how...I am sure that it rather easy to figure out, it is just going to take patience, wiring with almost anything is very time consuming..good luck and let me know what happens...
