what do girls mean when they say ' i really wish you would talk to me'?

This is the million dollar question. everybody knows it's hard to understand women. what if the person u luv comes to u and says " I really want you to talk to me"? What would be going thru you mind? make you answers short and sweet...

Women, in general, are more emotionally based. We talk about our feelings and we want to connect intimately with our significant others the same way. It makes us feel like you trust us. It's what we know.

this was told by the girl i luv to me. even before i could figure out what she meant, she stopped talking, i believe there was i was not at fault for that. now i want to make it up to her. help me plz..
