Does diabetic has any impact on hearing ability?

I want to know whether hearing loss can happen to a person with type 2 diabetic?

Recent studies have show that there can be a connection for people with type 1 and 40% of people with type 2. i person have not had any family member with type 2 or 1 to stuff from hearing loss.
