Do you compare one child to the other?

My mother does this with my sister and I, and I really hate it. It drives me crazy to hear "but your sister did it this way". Doesnt seem like she realizes that we are 2 different people.
My husband and I are financially independent and independent in everything. So we should be able to make our own decisions without getting criticized for everything. My mom says I shouldnt work - just stay home and have kids like my sister did..ugh so annoying!

the bible say those who compare your themself are not wise.there is no basis for compare two people.

you need to seriously sit your mother down and tell her that you and your sister are different. That it is her choice to stay home and raise her kids. BUT it is your choice to have a job, She needs to accept that you and her other daughter are different.
