I get all the colds in Winter only. Why? I know that the cold is caused by virus and has nothing to do with weather. Why do you think we get more cold in winter and not in summer?

WE get colds mostly in the winter, due to fomites.
Fomites are inanimate objects that we touch, where virus lie dormant waiting for an environment that will allow them to grow. When we are inside alot, we touch door knobs and other objects where viruses are waiting, more often. We go about our business and eventually we do something like rub our face or more often, our eyes.
The viruses travel from our hand, onto our face. The virus families of the common cold tend to enter through the tear ducts and then begin to grow in our throats or sinuses. That is why you often have the scratchy throat as the virus begins to grow.
