I used to like Bush, but I don't want our troops overseas anymore. Can someone please tell me why they are still over there? I hear so many different stories. This is ending up just like Vietnam! Please tell me your thoughts!

Hey this one is touchy because no maater what we all say there is someone out there with a diffrent opinion. But I do know my hubby is one of the troops that is heading over there. There is something more to this then the civilians know. I know I am married to him but I will never understand it all. All I know is before we bash our President I guess we need to look a little deeper. I am not usre that anyone else who could be the Pres would do any different. We are not over there and we do not get the other hidden info. All I know is that he is bringing more troops over there to get the country in order befroe they decide to pull out. I dont think it will ever be the way he wants it to be. As for all the ones we are losing lets just say they did that for us!

You're right, I shouldn't have stated it that way. But doesn't bush have the final say so?

Our troops are always overseas. We have troops stationsed all over the world. Why do we still have troops in Bosnia? That was a Clinton policy. Why do we have troops in Korea, Vietnam, Germany. We have them all over the world.
President Bush has our troops over in Iraq because if we leave now, that region of the world becomes so unstable that there will be no saving any sort of peace over there.
