Dreaming too much in my sleep

I always have dreams every night. I don't just have one dream in a night, it's like I have episodes. I dream about so many different things all in a night. They're not nightmares. I dream about various things, like being pregnant when that is a topic not on my mind. Usually we dream about things we have thought about during the day, but I seem to dream about things not even on my mind. Then in the morning I remember some things I've dreamt about, but later on I forget everything. Does that happen to anyone? Do you forget about what you dreamt about by the morning? Does anyone know what it means to dream about so many different things in one night?

That usually happens to me. I will be really deep in my dream, and then when I wake up, I'll remember a quick flash of my dream. And then when I try to remember it fully, it's goes away in an instant. It's weird when that happens.

Yes, and sometimes, I know that it is very important and I should remember what it is, but I just can't. Also, when it is something that I really don't want to remember (like a nightmare) it just won't go away, and stays with me all day long.

I too, have several dreams in the night, and I try not to remember many of them, because I do not want to. The reason I believe we have so many and they are so different, is because of the fact that we are stressed (I know I am), busy, and usually have lists of things that we want to get done, in the next day (or the near future). Furthermore, the fact that you are dreaming of being pregnant, has to do with family. Perhaps, you miss your family, or are thinking of them. Or maybe you are wondering when you will start a family of your own. Sometimes, things that we may not even think that we are concerned about, come out in our dreams, and they were really there somewhere in our subconcious.

It's very seldom that I remember a dream. I'm sure I dream sometimes but I could never tell you what about.
I can't be certain but maybe it could be a touch of information overload? I think that it can make a person's mind very busy.
