American Idol - when did you first start watching it? ^_^

I also started watching the second year. I love Carrie Underwood!!! Her song "Jesus Take the Wheel" is the ringtone on my cell phone! I was so disapointed when Taylor won last year. I absolutely did not like him. Maybe it's my age (I'm only 27) but he just didn't do it for me.

I started watching it about 2 years ago...I normally look forward to the very beginning...Gawd its too funny...then sometimes i just windle off from watching..Last year was the 1st time I watched literally the entire season of it...

I started wathcing it with Kelly Clarkson. I like all the past winners. I don't really have a favorite I just enjoy watching the talent. I agree with Paula when she says they are all winners in their right. Some have gone on to be actors or actresses. Some have furthered their career in music and have had a better opportunity to be discovered. So it is all good for the whole lot of them.

The first show I watched was the finale of the first season, believe it or not. After that I started watching it constantly. And then Canadian Idol came along. It starts right after American Idol wraps up its season. And I remember World Idol. Did you see that? I loved the part last year when the guy who loved Clay Aiken came back and sang on stage and then Clay walked out freaking the guy out. It was the best moment ever!

that is when i first started watching american idol also. My favorite contestant was Chris from last season. i was so disappointed when he got voted off, that i blamed myself for not voting that nite.

I watched it the first season that it had come out.I don't really watch anymore.The only part of the show I end up watching are the tryouts. The show usually comes on when I my other shows come and I would rather watch them.

The only AI I watch is Allen Iverson, because I never really got into the whole singing show phenomena! Hmmm, the best I've seen come out of that show, William Hung for sure! I have to pick the Asian guy, we gotta stick together! When I did sit down and watch couple episodes, I didn't like the judges, because they said the same things over and over... Too repetitive I guess for me!

Never. I just don't like the kind of music they do on American Idol. I may be old, but give me Rock Star any day!

I started watching it the first season. I really liked Kelly Clarkson and I'm glad she won. I didn't like Taylor Hicks this last time and I really think he shouldn't have won. I thought Chris Daughtry was the best. And Kellie Pickler lives about 30 minutes from me.

I have watched every season and purchased Chris Daughtry's new album. The band Daughtry is worth buying with great shows and I don't skip any of the songs. American Idol is worth watching, as people get a chance in the music business that might not have been noticed without the show. My saddest memory is the day Chris was voted off the show, as he has been the most successful from the fifth season. I think his group will have a long career.

I have never really gotten into the American Idol craze, but I have seen Clay Aiken perform, and he is really a great performer. I sure hope we see a lot more of him in the future.

I started watching american idol when fantasia was a contestant. I like that season where jennifer hudson also started. And when jasmine trias sang "inseperable.

I really like watching people singing. thats the only reason.

I started watching it season 3.... but i wish i was able to watch season 1 because i really love kelly clarkson... In season 3, well i'm not a fan of fantasia but i admit she's really great.. Season 4 i'm glad that my bet was emerged as the winner.. ;)
