I do not usually buy in a duty free shop, but browsing is a good way to kill time

I do not get into the music so much that it distracts me. It is mostly just background noise

I keep both a book and a puzzle book in my carry on luggage.

I never go near the airport without a good book. Even when flights are delayed for hours, I am OK as long as I can immerse myself in a book.

I can get lost in a book as well, it is much better than wasting the time.

Waiting at an airport is a great opportunity to have a look at so many different people whom you don't know. Sometimes it is fun to try to guess, what are their characters, what they are they worry about, read faces. Or, if you don't feel like that, a good book can make your waiting much shorter and more pleasant.

If it is a new airport to me, I like to browse around too
