What do you do to kill time in the airport while waiting for a flight?

I do not usually buy in a duty free shop, but browsing is a good way to kill time

I always grab something to eat and drink even if I'm not hungry or thirsty. And then I'll sit down, put some earphone and listen to music. I'm all set with that.

I do not get into the music so much that it distracts me. It is mostly just background noise

I do lots of things. I eat, shop and roam around. I like to check the area out and see where I will be boarding and I like the shops. then I may get a puzzle book and work it for awhile. The last thing is just sit and watch people.

I keep both a book and a puzzle book in my carry on luggage.

I never go near the airport without a good book. Even when flights are delayed for hours, I am OK as long as I can immerse myself in a book.

I can get lost in a book as well, it is much better than wasting the time.

Oh well when I go to an airport normally I am not by myself but have family members or friends there so we sit down at a cafe and have a cup of coffee/tea and maybe have something to eat and have a talk before we go

Waiting at an airport is a great opportunity to have a look at so many different people whom you don't know. Sometimes it is fun to try to guess, what are their characters, what they are they worry about, read faces. Or, if you don't feel like that, a good book can make your waiting much shorter and more pleasant.

Browse through the duty free, use the internet services or just go on my PSP. Unless i'm with a friend or family, then we'll usually talk about what we could do at our destination and generate a buzz before we get there.

If it is a new airport to me, I like to browse around too
