Is my husband having an affair

My husband has long working hours and keeps very busy. We do not talk about his work very often but whenever we talk he always mentions about a particular girl in his office in relation to certain tasks at hand. I have never met this girl and in the last two occasions when we have invited his colleagues over for dinner he has never kept her on our list of guests. I wonder why?

After reading yours and other responses it all seemed to suggest that I should ask and I did so. Unfortunately it did not go well with my husband and we got into an argument. After that we havent spoken to each other. I dont know for how long will this silence lie between us.

Have you ever asked him? I don't think its a question any of us could answer as we don't really have enough details. Ask him...the way he answers will tell you a lot.

but i bet he would deny it "if there is actually things to deny in the first place" but your right...ask your husband..and if your not contented with his answers then do some more "investigation" or hire a private detective :)

Well, even if he did decide to lie about it, its pretty easy to tell if someone is lying.

simple. if you ever have any doubts about your husband, just ask him. he should be honest with you. you'll be able to tell if he's hiding something. it doesn't seem like much to go on, but you can always look into it.

he just may not be interseted in her,an feel their is no need to invite her to dinner,he may just see her as a employee who is boreing an ugly.i wouldnt worry about him haveing a affair.if they were seeing each other she would be at the dinner.so they could make eyes at each other.

i feel as though he is not having an affair...this may hurt but it does sound like he has a crush on her, but does not want to do anythin about it. u shud talk to him, maybe ask one of his colleagues what she is like
