if you're computer meets the requirements for vista, then go for it. vista is really cool. if not, you can always dream about it.

The only reason why I would upgrade would be if my current computer could not be repaired, and Vista would be the only thing available. Until that happens I'm going to stick with what I've got. Don't upgrade unless you have to.

I wouldn't do that for now if I was you.
Even thought I never tried Windows Vista myself I think it's nothing more than a WIndows XP with modificated themes and am almost sure that it's full of bugs as Microsoft products usually are when they first come out.

You shouldn't to upgraded your windows from xp to vista much faster. I think there will be many bugs in the newest vista which will be released. I think you should wait until microsoft can solve many bugs in windows vista, then you can upgrade it into vista. Because vista has very good feature and performance which will make your computer better.

you might consider first your hardware specs before upgrading your xp to vista, vista is still on a shaky enviroment becuase it is still on the process of development. If your not having problem with xp i think stick to it for more time and wait until vista stabilizes.
