Do you have any sweet bird stories to share? My cockatiels have coupled up its very sweet to watch but i have an uneven amount of cockatiels and only one lovebird it seems the lovebird has taken a liking to the one male cockatiel that had no mate it is even more sweet to watch because not too long ago the lovebird was chasing the tiels away because lovebirds are very territorial now she cant get enough of her mate .

I had a quaker parakeet named Diddi. He was the funniest and smartest bird I ever knew. One day when he was about 6 mos old. we were sitting on the patio. His wings were clipped and he was out with us. He started out on his playstand but climbed down to the table and was milling around, begging for treats. My friend and I weren't paying enough attention to him I guess. He decided to climb down to the ground all the while saying "Hannah come here" "let's go" Well the obedient basset hound that Hannah was, she came right over.
Well the little turd started saying "get in there" so Hannah got in her dogloo doghouse. Diddi then proceeded to pace in front of the opening, back and forth repeating"get in there, get in there. Hannnnaahhhh, get in there"
It was the funniest thing I ever saw a bird do. We started calling him Sgt. Diddi.
