I became a vegetarian for several of reasons. One reason is eating meat gives you a higher chance of cancer than soy products. I believe it is because there are more free radicals released in your body when meat is digested. Another reason was I wanted to lower my chlolesteral. It's now 115! I also started eating vegetables and soy products to lose weight. I lost 112 lbs. and have kept it off over 2 years. Why did you become a vegetarian?

Yes I have been a vegetarian for eight years because I object to animals being used for human food.
