Why don't men call after a date gone well?

ok guys, fess up! why, when we think everything was perfect, we both had a great time...and then we don't hear from you?....or better yet, we date you for about 3 months exclusively, very loving relationship, and then boom...you're gone. No letter, no return call, won't even just leave a message on our machine -- even knowing that we wont pick up, with any explanation? Please tell the secret!
