there was a show on one of our local channels and the show was based on real people who dealt with real situations. at that time, the story they showed was about a family somewhere in the province. there were 4 daughters and a son. the son studied in a city so he didn't know what was going on since he rarely visits their home. anyways, as for the rest of the children they stayed in the province along with their mom and dad. the mom works early in the morning selling fried bananas and stuff like that and the dad doesn't do anything at all. everytime, the mom would leave the house he would call on his eldest daughter and tell the little ones to play outside. as they went out, the second to the eldest doubted her dad's behavior so she peeped through the small hole in their hut and saw that her dad has been raping her eldest sister. she kept it to herself until one time she saw how her eldest sister has changed. she started to draw pictures of devils and said that she didn't like to go to school anymore because it was useless. when her second sister confronted her on what has happened the eldest said that it was true but they could do nothing but to follow the dad coz if they didn't then he would kill them all. so for sometime, he kept on raping her and the rest of his children until one day, the second child had the gutts to report this to her aunt who also reported this to the police and when they finally arrested this man- he said "i didn't do anything wrong. i was just following the bible. god said to love your children and didn't you know that eversince before the dad and his daughters would have children this is why our population grew!" personally, i really feel that some people are misguided and some of their beliefs just ruin other people's lives! what a shame..
