What do you think the Carolina Panthers(or the NFC as a whole) needed to work on in the off season in order to come back as a better team next season? I actually believe they have the tools needed to get to the post season, but they made some stupid mistakes early(Chris Gamble doing a lateral on a punt return against the Vikings for example.) The defense is good, but they sometimes lose focus late in the game. When Steve Smith came back, Delhomme did a interview and started to hype him up as being the most important part of the team, and best player of the season. Thing is they can win without him, they just need to play smarter.

I think they did what the needed to do.... Hiring a new OC was a major change, and i think the guy they chose will really put a spark i n thier offence... hes even suggested letting smith run the ball, sometimes, if they cant get him the ball any other way... what we needed to do thou was get better in the def backfield, and no major changes took place there...
