how to make playing card floawing ?

im intesresting doing magic i've seen a magic which is make the plying card float from the hand about two inches ..so if anybody can help me in this .please answe me ... thanking you

I have seen this trick and i found it on wikipedia Its something related to a waxed thread attached to the centre of the card that can break of easily and another thread attached to your ear!
