Its like a disease that floats around only during "baby" season.. All your friends are having babies, the little shoes are so cute, you see the new fashion for "soon-to be mommies", all for that special moment. And now you cant WAIT to experience it yourself.. Personally I have had the mommy itch for about 6 months now..My God son is the most precious thing in my life, and now I cant wait to have one on my own. The main thing stopping me is not being financially set, and not being married yet. From the girls I have talked to, many of them have this ITCH, but wont have one for these same reasons..Have any of you experienced this? Share your feelings and thoughts on it

I have baby fever - bad! It really encompasses all of my thoughts. Although we are trying now, it really is bad. I think about our future and our children ALL THE TIME!!!

I've had the mommy itch for 23 years. My biological clock is soon to explode. I am 37 years old and still praying for Mr. Right. Being single has it's advantages, but marriage is much more fun. I lived with a guy for nine years (mistake) and I learned a lot. But now I want to do it the right way. My two sisters have ten kids between them and my oldest neice had a baby last year. I love children so much, but there is nothing like having your own.

When we are already in a certain age of maturity, we feel like wanting to have a children of our own. tendency is, we adore the kids of our relatives or friends. But it is really great to have our very own.

come home soon - I love my Marine, come home soon
I COMPLETELY know what you're feeling. My fiance and have been together for over 5 years and are getting married in a year and a half. We now have a beautiful little nephew and two days later were blessed with a beautiful god-daughter. All of my friends are having babies and I want one so badly. We've tried a few times, and I had a few miscarriages. We got everything checked out and fixed, which was a huge sigh of relief. But now he's stationed back on the east coast. He only gets to come home a few times a year for about 2 weeks each time. And now I have to wait til this summer to see him. But he'll be home for good. I want so badly for him to be home and for us to be married and starting our family.

for me baby season is everyday since i work at a restaurant where everyone brings the babies. they are so cute and sweet. my financial status is also holding me back from having a baby. also my age. i'm only 18 and i want to experience life before i get tied down with a child.

I had it too, once. When all of my friends are getting pregnant, and me, despite of my 3 years of marriage had never been one. We tried everything, fertility pills and other medical stuff. And when we finally give up, we are blessed with one! now he's 7 and the joy of our life. It will come to you. Just wait for the perfect time.

When I was your age I had that same itch. But, reality kept my feet on the ground. I would look around me, at my freedom and my life. I knew once I had that baby, things would not be the same and freedom would be gone. So I decided no kids until I was ready to stay at home an dedicate my life to raising that child. It wasn't easy especially like you, all my friends were starting to have babies. However with luck and determination I did it.

One of my good friends and I both have the mommy itch lately. Our boyfriends have been sitting around talking about how they can't believe everybody we went to school with has kids now. While they do that, we sit around and talk about having babies of our own. I know I'm not ready for one yet, but will I even know when I am ready?
