Have you ever had a stent put in?

My husband had to have a stent and it was it very first heart attack. I don't understand how he needed one so quickly. Did anyone ever have problems with the stent or the medication they put you on?

My Dad had a stent put in about a year ago after his heart attack. So far he's had no problems with it.

That is good. My husband has to take all these pills and he hates it.

My dad had to take quite a few too. I believe after 6 months they start easing back on a few of them. Good luck to you both.

I have two renal stents caused by acute stress from a car accident . I had to take a med for 90 days then was taken off ,I do have to go for ultra sounds every yr. it makes me uncomfortable knowing ,had I not been hit they would not be there. Good luck to your hubby !
