Does anyone on myLot have watched the documentary film of former US Vice President Al Gore about global warming, the "An Inconvinient Truth"? I've heard that it is very nice and very educational and everyone should watched it to understand what is really happening in our planet, specially in our environment. What can you say about the film? Is it worth watching for?

No sorry I have not watched it as of yet. Actually this is the first time I have heard of it. Where did you hear about it and where can a person get this documentry film An Inconvinient Truth? I think alot of people should be interested in it because strange things has been happening in our weather system getting snow where there usually is none and staying warm where there is suposed to be snow. Some christians are saying it is nearing the time of the end of the world but I am not so sure about that. So do you have to purchase this film or can it be watched on t.v. somewhere?
If so when is it to be on? And what channel?

I haven't seen the documentary An Inconvenient Truth, but it has good ratings in imdb and good user reviews too.
If I haven't seen this discussion I wouldn't have known about An Inconvenient Truth, I think I will watch An Inconvenient Truth soon enough as it's about global warming ....

Absolutely,it is worth watching. It is disturbing to see that the earth is warming but it is also inspiring to see that we can make a change. It shows that many, many people are doing what they can so we don't feel like what little things we can do don't matter. It does make a difference. I was wondering if the things I was doing could help, like recycling, walking instead of driving, using energy efficient bulbs, using windmill power for electricity, covering windows with plastic and turning my heat down. It all works, especially when so many people are doing it. I recommend watching this. It's great.
