someone from here referred me with atkins maintenance and I tried it out...very effective and healthy way to diet. You research more on this, it really helps.

Check out www.self.com. They have a lot of good resources. And their annual Self challenge should be starting up at the end of February. In general, just try your best to be as active as possible and eat well. Little things add up. And when I need to lose weight I find that making one change at a time is always the best. Once one change becomes a habit, move on to something else. Here are some ideas: 1. Drink more water (8 cups a day) 2. Walk each day (you choose the mileage that is comfortable for you) 3. Eat a healthy breakfast. 4. Healthy lunch 5. Healthy dinner 6. focus on healthy snacks 7. Develop an exercise plan (strength, cardio, stretching) Etc. You can go at a comfortable pace for you. I wouldn't worry about following a diet plan. That can get confusing and discouraging.

Fasting on honey -lime juice water is highly beneficial in the treatment of obesity without the loss of energy and appetite. In this mode of treatment, one spoon of fresh honey should be mixed with a juice of half a lime in a glass of lukewarm water and taken at regularly intervals. Another effective remedy for obesity is an exclusive lemon juice diet. On the first day the patient should be given nothing but plenty of water. On the second day juice of three lemons mixed with equal amount of water should be given. One lemon should be subsequently increased each day until the juice of 12 lemons is consumed per day. Then the number of lemons should be decreased in the same order until three lemons are taken in a day. The patient may feel weak and hungry on the first two days, but afterwards the condition will be stabilised by itself. Cabbage is considered to be an effective home remedy for obesity.

THE BEST WAY TO SLIM YOURSELF IS TO DO YOGA DAILY.IN THE MORNING YOU DO YOGA , IN EVENING DO AEROBICS AND AT NIGHT BEFORE GOING TO BED DRINK A GLASS OF WATER WITH LEMON IN IT.

start by cutting down on your food intake. take a long walk first, about 30 minutes and then make sure you drink lots of water.

1. Drink water Water is quite possibly the single most important catalyst in losing weight and keeping it off longer term. Water acts as an appetite suppressant by keeping your stomach full and fending off dehydration which can lead to false cravings/hunger. Water also helps your body metabolize stored fat by helping the kidneys flush out waste. When you don't drink enough water the liver which works to provide stored fat for energy helps the kidneys eliminate waste and becomes less effective at metabolizing fat. Drinking water ice cold burns about 62 calories a day. Your body has to work to raise that waters temperature to your body's temperature. This equals around 430 calories per week. 2. Eat regularly This means eating 5 times a day and the most important meal is breakfast. Make sure you fuel your body first thing in the morning to avoid hunger pangs later in the day. When you eat 5 times a day you will never feel hungry, make sure the total calories consumed are sensible and don't over eat in any of the meals learn portion size control! 3. Eat lots of fibre Eating adequate fiber foods to help keep things moving through your bowel. And like water, fiber rich foods bulk you up and make you feel fuller for longer. Fibre is found only in plant foods our bodies cant digest it to so it simply goes through the body.
