Would you hide someone who has became a fugitive just because they are your friend or family?? I'm thinking maybe depends on what they did. But i would also make sure that they were speedingly put on there way, because would you suffer jail time for harboring a fugitive??

Yeah it would depend on what they did, and they'de ahve to leave asap. If they did something really bad I'de have to turn them in, even my own child if one of them killed someone. But I would do everything I could to make sure they got a fair trial.

Thanks suzieb for the response I appreciate it. I don't know if I could actually turn ion my own child but I would try to talk to them about turning thereselves in. I would possibly only turn them in as a last resort to save there life maybe. Being on the run and having ot look constantly over your shoulder wouldn't b much fun I can imagine. Lets just hope nothing like this scenerio ever happens.

Yeah, but if I couldn't convince them to turn themself in I'd have to. Well after giving them a head start. I like to think that my child wouldn't kill someone without a good reason, so that would be a fighting chance in court. But if not I couldn't live with myself if they did it again. It would kill me to do it, but the person they killed was someones child too.

It's hard to think of loved ones or family as killers. I agree that it wouldn't do for them to hurt or kill someone elses child. I would give them a head start probably as well. But I would seriously have to have some proof they did it. If they did then they need some help and counseling and need to get it if that way is through jail time ,then so be it.

It would really depend on what they had done. If it was for something major I would have a hard time doing so Conscience wise. I would want to turn them in then, but then if it was something small I may at least try to help them do what needs to get done to improve their life.

It would depend on what they did. I have a lot to lose a lot that they could have helped me get faster but they chose to be lazy. They would have to abide by my rules. They couldn't come and go as they please because it IS against the law. And lets face it. The cops are after them so they make bad decisions.

Well as most stated it, it would totally depend of what they did. If i knew they were innocent for sure, yes I would. I would suffer if it knew 100 percent they were innocent yes, but if not , no i would not hide you, you do the crime you do the time.

Thanks deanna28979 for your reply to my discussion I appreciate it. I think if someone does a crime they know will land them in jail them they should do the time for that crime. Hopefully we will never have to deal with this kind of thing ever. Thanks.

It's difficult to say. I think it may depend on different factors. I'd first have to get as many facts as I could, mainly from the family member, and then assess the situation. And then see where I was.
