Need tips on the game Need For Speed - Carbon

Hi, Guys!
I can't beat any racer after I defeat all three Darius friends i.e Angie, Wolf & Kenji, even if I max out the performance of my cars. The Game gets tougher after this level. Pls help. Which car should I go for to complete my career race.
