I have been chatting over the net for over 2 years now and I have met a lot of different people all over the world. Some are just temporary friends, and few are those constant and always be there eventhough were only seeing each other through web cam or pictures. Some are rude and some are good conversationalist. Some are corny and some are really funny. Do you think is worth keeping a friends you've just only met over the net?

Guys will always remain guys. we never come with bthe intentions of making friends when we come for chatting. You will rarely see a guy who comes with the intention of just being friends for chat. I have seen many people are there for the same reason. some of them are there just for pure timepass i.e. flirt around for sometima and then just leave it upto that. The ratio of girls to boys is very less so for timepass nowdays disguise has girls and chat just for the sake of fun.
i think no one is there to be friends out here or a very few are!

so what if that person met on the net can become a gud frnd then why not,,,wats a big deal??......

Yes its worth keeping friends you met in chatrooms as long as they are good, kind and considerate of each others.
those that are rude and mean in those rooms I wouldn't give them the time of day, but you can find great friends to chat with everyday and may even meet in time.
I personally myself have made lots of friends in chatrooms and on forums.
