do u know a foreign language ?

I also do agree with you....but at one point i would like to differ. Today man is not bound by geographical limitations. Today we are living in a Global Village...our planet have shortened in terms of barriers and boundaries. So in such times it's though not very friutful but to some extent satisfying if you can speak the language of the peoples your most uncomfortable speaking in English or in your mother tongue. So try to learn as many languages as possible....whatever be the usefulness or quantity of vocabulary u finally get to handle.

I think this is a very valid question. I think you should be very skilled at your mother tongue, but the impetus to learn a foreign language is varied. Some are required in school; still others learn it because it is job required. Others do it for fun and some think it will open up career doors. it is sad when they cannot even speak their own language very well. Ich spreche Deutsch gern. Aber, es ist nicht meine Muttersprache. Ich hatte Deutsch beim Universitat gelernt. I think there is value in learning another language because you can usually learn about another culture at the same time. That brings the world just a little closer together, which this planet desparately needs.

Till now i had not known any foreign language but i hope that i will learn a foreign language very quickly. Learning new language is a very interesting thing and its just as if going on a new adventure. So i hope i get into this new adventure very soon.

In my opinion, learning a foreign language is necessary. to me, since the request of school, we need to learn English. and for some people, they live on English, though I only learn a little English. now I work for a furniture company, and export furniture to foreign customer. and even more, I can learn more about other culture when I learning English. and so I can visit here and post response in here.
