You can set goals to help you improve your daily life, such as walking for 10 minutes or eating five vegetables per day.
No matter what form or severity of arthritis you have, setting goals can be the first step to taking control of your disease.

I think that setting a goal in your life is the most important thing one should do, I suffered a lot because I haven't decided what I wanted to do.
Its true, it hurts when you didn't attain your goal but you should be happy for it that you still try for it, Take me for example, I never set a goal so I never tried for one, so I am lacking now, If i had set a goal and do efforts for accomplishing it I should have reached somewhere.
People have dreams and people have gols to fulfill those dreams.
Atleast you should try to accomplish your goals, one day it would be attained.

I think yes setting goals in life is important. It helps you to stay focused and organised to work hard towards achieving them. When you are focused and have a well balanced approach towards your goal failure chances are very much diminished. In case you ever fail, at least you know you gave it you best shot. It helps you to get over your disapointment and reset your goals again. So you must have some goals in life and focus on the path to achieve them not on the results.

goals in life are really important for me bacuase it keeps me in line with what i want to achieve in life. it gives me direction and a meaning on pursuing something. when one doesn't achieve it's goal, then goals in life can be considered hence realizations and self-learning comes into place. we then learn from what has happened hence making us a better person, it makes us stronger and setting goals next time around, we then have a better approach on how to achieve it. it's really not so bad, we should look at the bright side of thins and weight it's pros and cons, indeed it can give us a heart break but we shouldn't stop there, it gave us a heart break AND it made us a better person. :)

I don't really like to use the word "goal". I prefer to say "wish". If we set goals and then don't achieve them, we're disappointed. But if we wish for something, we can only *hope* that it comes true.
