i dont care what color the next president is.they could be {green} i wouldnt care.as long they do good for the american people.an not for the rich, they need to think about middle class an poor people of america.an do something about the war in iraq.an make peace with the world.the next president should have strong family values an know what it feels like to be at the bottom of the totem=pole

I agree, the problem we have here in south Africa is is, now that we have a black president and mostly black "cabinet" you see a lot of enrichment of just the eleet instead of the black working class that have been promise heaven and who knows what.

I'm not sure America is quite ready for a black president. You only have to look at how they let black people die in Hurricane Katrina.
If they do have a black president, it won't be a descendant of a slave, because that would make the white population feel guilty. It will be someone like Barak Obama, a descendant of a free African from Kenya.
I think that Barack Obama has a good chance of becoming vice president to Hilary Clinton, and then he may run for president in 2012.

I personally think a black president would be fine. I will vote for the canidate I think is best for president not considering their race. If I were to pick a black person for president I would pick Collin Powell. I realize he is not running; however, I think he is great. My husband and I had the pleasure of hearing him speak once. He is great.
