Hypertension is a killer disease that affects generations of a single clan. it has affected my great grandparents, my grandparents both have a stroke before they died, my mother has hypertension and is taking meds for it for the rest of her life. And this puts a lot of strain on the family. we kids have a fear of getting hypertensive later in life. this puts us in a lot of stress. Affecting our daily lives and our relationships. What is sad about this is that hypertension could could be prevented through lifestyle changes. We just are to weak to discipline ourselves and control our appetites and sacrifice a little to stop the curse of hypertension for our children and their children.
