Is Snape evil or not ???

I am one of the most optimistic guy around. In this regard I wud still think that Dumbledoe has found some way to come into the mind of Harry to guide him and has purposefully asked snape to do it so that there is no one on dark side to suspect him and he does his work for Dumbledore ... I am not sure of it and caannot be until the hallows come out but thats what I hope it to be :S

I think Snape is evil. Or else he wouldn't make the unbreakable vow with Narcissa and Bellatrix, nor finish off Dumbledore with the Aveda Kedavra curse.

i believe snape will ultimately turn out to be good.he killed dumbeldore on his request.we will find out for sure in the 7th book.

I have thought this one over time and time again and I just keep going back to the fact that he has to be evil. I just can't find any reason for why he would've killed Dumbledore if he weren't evil. If he were good, and he did it for some legitimate reason, I just can't imagine what that reason would even be. Snape is totally evil. I think that is completely clear.

i think snape's feinting..........i think snape's still workin for the good side & dumbledore's murder makes him above suspicion

I have always thought he was evil from the first show. I think that is what they want us to believe, but I bet he really isn't evil. He is probably just a loner and acts evil to gain respect.

I believe Snape is good........and that he murdered Dumbledore on his request....A lot of theories have been going around about this topic already
