why do beautiful girls have more success than clever ones?

I think that the key to success is brains. You can allways upgrade your looks with some make-up or even operations if it's needed/wanted, but theres no make-up that could hide ones lack of intelligence... Too bad, I think one who would invent it, would be realy really rich :)

I think society is conditioned to think that beauty is important in women. And that might have something to do with the fact that in ancient times, people who were beautiful (symetrical face, good skin, good body) were healthier than those who were not (bad skin indicating disease, lack of symetry indicating deformity and so on). But I think brains are definitely valued - look at Margaret Thatcher. Or Angela Merkel in Germany. Possibly Mrs Clinton in the USA. You can't get more successful than being chosen to run your country.

hi,Its not true.There are to types of jobs for girls,some times for boys also.One is it purely depend on their worth,intilegency for that girls has to meet the qualifications,irrespective of beauty.But for some front office jobs,tourism,movies..they require beauty.Of course,they mis utilize the beauty for mere money are always there in the entire world.In my view all girls are equally beauty,in fact girls are the symbol for beauty created by god.Have a nice day.
